The function covers 4 different key missions:

Internal Controls (IC): provide independent and objective assurance along with consulting services designed to support ASN and its management in achieving their objectives, by:

- ensuring the control of the application of policies, processes, and procedures.

- strengthening the overall systems of control.

Business Process Improvement (BPI): to continuously review, challenge and implement revisions of ASN’s Quality, Health, Security and Environment (QHSE) business processes.

Project Management Office (PMO): support QHSE Team Leads, to enable on-time delivery and the expected performance of QHSE projects, that will help QHSE organization to achieve its objectives.

Communication: Give full visibility on QHSE projects and understanding on the way of working, into ASN, through an effective communication plan for the QHSE Directorate.

Reporting lines:

Reports to QHSE IC&BPI Team Lead, who directly reports to the ASN VP QHSE.

Interlocutors & clients
:

  • For IC&BPI activities: all teams in ASN.
  • For PMO activities: all QHSE central teams.
  • For communication activities: all QHSE central teams and ASN communication team.

Missions:

Internal Controls

  • Assist the various departments of ASN in controlling their operations by providing them with recommendations and practical advices. During its process review and missions, IC interacts with all relevant functions in ASN.
  • Ensure regular follow-up of the implementation of recommendations made within the frame of internal controls reviews.
  • Identify IC lessons learned, best practices and contribute to continuously improve the day-to-day work.

Business Process Improvement

  • Lead QHSE transversal and multi-site business process improvement activities in ASN, from needs identification, process analysis, issuance of improvement recommendations until implementing the new process, by communicating and raising awareness on the changes. The needs may be triggered by various teams, and depending on priority or urgency, BPI team will decide which to tackle and organize think tank groups to identify improvements.
  • Lead ASN Quality Culture change into a continuous process improvement mindset and disseminate it in ASN through a coherent communication plan.

PMO activities

  • In coordination with all QHSE internal stakeholders, monitor and report QHSE projects’ progress to help QHSE leadership teams to make informed decisions and achieve organization’s objectives.
  • Ensure end-to-end visibility on QHSE projects and alignment within ASN (as part of the ASN PMO community).
  • Reporting:
    • Capture and follow-up all actions resulting from QHSE Meetings.
  • Follow-up and report progress on the most significant projects to support QHSE Team Leaders’ meeting in a unique way.

Communication activities

  • In charge of QHSE Communication Plan (newsletter, intranet pages, etc.), in alignment with ASN Communication team, to keep all interested parties informed.

Wanted profile

Education: Master degree.

Experience:

  • Good experience in process improvement and implementation in difficult environments.
  • 5 years’ experience in various company environments such as Project Management or Project Management Office, Communication, Change Management, Quality Management, Business Process implementation, etc…
  • Experience of internal auditing in an industrial group is a plus.

  • Capable of working autonomously
  • Project Management certification is a plus.

Languages: fluent in English

Location: ASN Paris Saclay site

Travel: limited to ASN sites (France - Calais and Paris-Suresnes, UK - Greenwich, Norway - Trondheim)
