We are now getting ready for an absolutely new captivating project, the series 'Messi and the Giants', produced by Sony Music Vision, Sony Pictures Television Kids and Leo Messi Management, and broadcasted by Disney. An epic saga where a young boy named Leo is transported from his home in Argentina into a fantastical alternate universe.

Job Description

Atlantis Animation is seeking a talented and experienced Animation TA to join our creative team as soon as possible.

The Animation TA is responsible for providing technical support for the crew for the Project with a focus on the Animation team under the guidance of the supervising technical crew and Production.

Location: Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain)

Type of contract: Full-time Employee. 100% On-Site

Main Responsabilities and Requirements

Main Responsibilities:

• Daily technical support to the Animation and Layout crews,
• Animation library maintenance and updating;
• Reviewing and resolving bug reports;
• Quality control for shots delivered from Layout and preparation for delivery to Animation;
• Quality control of final animation;
• Preparation of characters poses for surfacing;
• Preparation of character range of motion set ups;
• Postsculpting characters as required by the QC process;
• Assistance with set, prop and character rigging when required;
• Complete tasks within production deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working in an Animation TA/TD role within an animation or VFX production.
• Experience in full-CG TV series or animated features is a plus.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn;
• Attention to detail;
• Ability to script using Python and / or Mel is a plus;
• Solid experience and understanding of Maya in a production-based environment.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to share information in a team environment;
• Flexibility and ability to be responsive to change;
• Passion for animation and storytelling.
• USD-based pipeline experience is a plus
• Ability to work on-site in our beautiful Tenerife studio.
• EU/Spanish work permit.
