Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to strengthen our CDN-dedicated team and ensure the maintainability of our solution.
Your role will focus on security and video anti-piracy, in a modern technical environment based on C++.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work in an advanced technological context, on high-value projects.
Who will you work with?
A dedicated product team of R&D engineers, System engineers and QA engineers.
Your missions
Strengthening System Security and Monitoring Capabilities
- Enhance suspicious behavior detection and blocking features using Broadpeak’s modern HTTP framework.
- Add unit and functional tests to existing components to ensure robustness and prevent regressions.
- Develop system control and monitoring components, particularly the external API.
Design and develop innovative solutions while ensuring compatibility with all Broadpeak solutions.
- Develop software for these solutions/products/components using the most suitable technical language.
- Guarantee the security, reliability, and robustness of the developed software.
- Document all deliverables.
Test and debug solutions/products and ensure traceability of encountered issues.
Before deployment
- Perform necessary unit tests in the target environment.
- Collaborate with the validation team responsible for system testing.
- Identify anomalies, correct them, and document the fixes.
After deployment
- Investigate technical issues on client platforms (on-call duties).
- Identify the root cause, develop and test corrective solutions.
Optimize solution performance by integrating technological advancements.
- Provide technical information required for documentation related to solutions/products/issues.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure delivery commitments and successful deployment at client sites.
- Continuously improve the performance of existing systems.
What are the requirements?
Degree in Computer Engineering or Telecommunications.
Strong experience in modern C / C++ development.
Linux environment: development, build, package management.
