Devops Engineer (Platform Engineering) F/M

What will be your main missions?

The DevOps Engineer position sits at the intersection of software development, automation, operations, and system integration.

You will be responsible for designing, delivering, maintaining, and automating the system layers that host Broadpeak solutions.

You will work closely with the R&D and Operations teams to gather requirements, technical constraints, and prerequisites to be integrated into the team’s deliverables.

This role represents the equivalent of 50% of a full-time workload.

Main Responsibilities

System Environment Design & Management

• Design and maintain the system configurations required for deploying and operating Broadpeak solutions.

• Design system components with a product-oriented approach (versioned product, automatically tested and documented).

• Automate infrastructures and deployments using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible and Terraform, across Linux bare‑metal, Cloud, and Kubernetes environments.

Deployment Industrialization

• Collaborate with Development and Operations teams to industrialize deployments, ensure consistency, and minimize the impact of changes on end‑customer environments.

• Provide environments tailored to internal teams’ needs for testing and validation activities.

• Provide support for the components delivered by the team.

Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to the optimization of DevOps tools, processes, and best practices.

• Incorporate operational feedback and streamline communication between developers, QA, Ops, and security teams.

• Reduce manual errors through increased automation.

• Implement pipelines to ensure reliable and automated testing of the team’s deliverables.

• Standardize environments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).

What are the requirements for this position?

Hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering School, Specialized Master’s in Cloud & DevOps.

2 to 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in a software development environment.

Professional certifications or advanced skills on cloud platforms and Kubernetes (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes – CKA/CKAD).

• Strong command of automation, industrialization, and continuous integration principles applied to systems, Cloud, and CI/CD environments. Experience with Cloud environments (GCP, AWS) and Kubernetes (OpenShift, Rancher/RKE).
• Experience with agile methods and practices.
• Environments: Linux, Kubernetes, VMware virtualization, AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Scripting: Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bash, Go. CI/CD: Jenkins, Git, Harbor.
