Who are we looking for?

As a Product Owner at broadpeak.io, you will help customers of all sizes deliver flawless, secure, and contextual streaming experiences aligned with their business goals.

We are looking for a proactive and autonomous Product Owner, capable of raising the bar with Engineering (R&D), driving outcomes on an API‑first SaaS platform, and mastering modern AI workflows in their daily practice.

You will oversee full‑stack product management for the platform, APIs, and user experiences, working closely with the SaaS Solution Owner, the QA Manager, the Engineering Director, the Growth Director, and the Customer Success Director. The goal is to maintain a continuous feedback loop between Customers ↔️ Product ↔️ DevOps/Operations.

You will participate in agile ceremonies and write/prioritize EPICs, Features, and User Stories according to strategy, vision, and customer urgency.

We are a small team (<15 people), with open communication and a flat structure where every voice matters. We aim for innovation and disruption in the streaming industry — come play with the latest cloud technologies.

Main missions

Product Leadership

  • Drive the product vision, roadmap, and quarterly objectives through concept reviews; proactively identify opportunities and risks.

  • Maintain a high level of rigor with R&D while ensuring exemplary communication: clear specifications, precise scope, realistic trade‑offs, and zero compromise on quality/security/reliability.

  • Operate comfortably across four levels of decomposition:

    • High‑level architecture & technical design

    • Functional decomposition

    • Story writing & collaboration

      • Write simple stories yourself (well‑defined APIs, data mappings, small UI improvements) with precision, error states, and test notes.

      • When facing a technical dilemma, organize (or let the team organize) a focused design/tech workshop to co‑write stories and converge on the approach.

    • Cross‑functional vision

Platform Backlog Management in a DevOps Context

  • Balance short‑, mid‑, and long‑term priorities while limiting the number of open topics.

  • Improve lead time / cycle time and overall flow efficiency; keep the team focused on the most impactful tickets for customers.

  • Treat non‑functional topics as first‑class citizens in the roadmap.

  • Work with Engineering to oversee development stages and encourage continuous product improvement.

Business Trade‑offs & User Advocacy

  • Present clear options with pros/cons, cost/effort, operational impact, and recommendations.

  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success on onboarding, escalations, feedback loops, beta programs, and adoption metrics.

  • Maintain a strong UX focus; diagnose issues with empathy and method (repro steps, logs, traces, hypotheses).

Continuous Improvement

  • Own release notes/changelogs: accurate, up‑to‑date, and customer‑oriented.

  • Ensure permanent alignment between documentation and the product’s actual behavior.

  • Master modern AI tools and demonstrate how you use them weekly to deliver better results, faster.

What are the requirements?

You hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science.

You have 10 years of experience in a similar role.

You are fluent in English and able to communicate with all stakeholders across the platform.

You have experience with SaaS platforms (multi‑tenant, API‑first, DevOps, observability, SLOs) deployed in the Cloud (AWS, GCP…).

You demonstrate high standards and a healthy ability to challenge R&D; your writing is precise and your thinking structured.

You have strong documentation habits (Confluence, API docs, changelogs/release notes).

You are a proactive, autonomous product builder with a strong sense of ownership.

You are an enthusiastic communicator with a taste for mentoring.

You have a proven ability to translate functional needs into technical deliverables across all levels.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in software development or cloud architecture (APIs, microservices, streaming/CDN, IaC, CI/CD).
