As part of its Bold & United 2026–2030 strategic plan, ESCP Business School is pursuing its transformation through the creation of the School of Technology, a new school dedicated to educating future professionals who will address the challenges of innovation, artificial intelligence, data and emerging technologies. The School of Technology develops an ambitious portfolio of programmes for both degree-seeking students and professionals, building on ESCP's academic excellence and European ecosystem.

To support this ambition, ESCP is seeking a Chief of Staff.

Reporting directly to the Dean of the School of Technology, the successful candidate will play a key role in the strategic management and development of this new School. Combining strategy, project management and institutional relations, the role contributes to shaping the School's governance, coordinating cross-functional initiatives and supporting its visibility in France and internationally.

The successful candidate will thrive in an entrepreneurial, international and fast-moving environment, where the ability to move projects forward, engage stakeholders and turn ideas into action will be essential.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Dean in the strategic management and development of the School of Technology.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and monitor strategic priorities.
  • Prepare governance meetings, executive presentations and strategic analyses.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with academic, institutional and corporate partners.
  • Coordinate activities across teams, European campuses and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor performance indicators, strategic roadmaps and major development projects.
  • Contribute to the School's international visibility and the development of its ecosystem.
  • Support fundraising initiatives, business development activities and strategic projects led by the School's leadership.

Profile required

The successful candidate enjoys working in a fast-evolving environment, contributing to strategic initiatives and supporting senior decision-making.

They demonstrate strong analytical and organisational skills, are able to coordinate complex projects, collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and work effectively in an international environment.

They also bring the following qualifications and skills:

  • Master's degree from a leading university or top-tier business or engineering school.
  • At least 8–10 years of experience in consulting, strategy, innovation, higher education or a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical, synthesis and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience managing strategic projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of discretion, sound judgement and ability to organise work independently.
  • Strong interest in technology, innovation and higher education.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French is an asset.
