ESCP is seeking a professional to lead European financial control and support, as a Business Partner, the Infrastructure, Real Estate, IT and Campus Life departments.
In a context of transformation and major investments—nearly €300 million over five years—the role contributes to monitoring the financial performance of operations and investments, linking financial considerations with service quality and the student experience.
Responsibilities
- Support the Real Estate, IT and Campus Life departments in their budgeting, forecasting and investment decisions.
- Build business cases and financial models for real estate and technology projects, and monitor their ROI.
- Monitor budget execution, commitments, cash outflows and project costs across multiple campuses.
- Develop indicators combining financial data, service usage and student satisfaction.
- Produce analyses for Senior Management and contribute to decision-making and resource allocation.
- Harmonise practices and improve reporting, business intelligence and data analytics tools.
Profile required
Required Skills and Experience
- Degree in finance from a leading business or engineering school or university.
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in management control within a demanding environment, a Big Four audit firm or transaction services.
- Excellent skills in management control, financial analysis and financial modelling.
- Proven experience in business partnering is essential; international and matrix-environment experience is desirable.
- Ability to communicate complex information, formulate recommendations and support decision-making.
- Ability to organise one’s workload and priorities, demonstrate initiative and work rigorously.
- Fluent professional English and excellent understanding of financial issues.
- Interest in investments, real estate and transformation projects within an international environment.
