The role plays a key part in ensuring access to education at ESCP Business School by providing personalised support to students seeking financial assistance. The position oversees scholarship schemes, ensures reliable case management, and contributes to the institutional coherence of financial aid policies.
This role brings strong strategic value by strengthening equity, transparency, and the overall quality of the student experience throughout the academic journey.
Key responsibilities
1. Student support and guidance
- Provide information and guidance to students on all matters related to scholarships and study funding.
- For exceptional financial aid requests (approximately 100 per year): meet with the student, review their financial situation, support them in building a cash-flow plan, advise on required steps, and present applications to the scholarship committee.
- Maintain a balanced approach combining empathy, rigour, and emotional neutrality.
2. Scholarship management and coordination
- Organise and monitor scholarship campaigns throughout recruitment periods for the Bachelor and Specialised Master’s programmes (in coordination with the Student Affairs Officer at the Montparnasse campus) and by session for the Grande École Programme.
- Review applications and prepare up to 400 cases per year.
- Present cases to scholarship committees, draft meeting minutes, update the student information system (Aurion), and inform students and the client billing department of decisions.
- Validate CROUS scholarships.
- Support students in coordination with the School’s partners: ESCP Foundation, Alumni network, Florence Foundation, Ledoux Foundation, Article 1, Infinite, Lambert Foundation, etc., and manage scholarship committees for the Ledoux and Lambert Foundations.
- Share scholarship recipient data with the School’s campuses and internal departments for subsidised meals, integration grants, sports scholarships, and inter-campus mobility programmes.
3. Study funding & financial analysis
- Produce financial summaries, statistics, and budget reporting.
- Monitor study funding solutions in France and internationally.
4. Relations with partner banks
Maintain strong relationships with partner banks: student loan offers, organisation of webinars and the annual Banking Forum.
Profile required
Technical skills
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in administrative management, financial analysis, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent command of French and English.
- Ease in working with public and administrative bodies (CROUS, CAF, etc.).
