As part of its digital transformation and AI deployment strategy, ESCP is looking to recruit a new profile. This new profile will report to a technical expert and the AI Project Manager, and will contribute to the development of high-stakes AI projects for the school, from exploration and POC phases through to the continuous improvement of existing solutions.

The role sits within a data-oriented technical environment, with the objective of structuring, securing, and leveraging data. These projects cover diverse use cases and are aimed at all school stakeholders: students, professors, and staff.

He/she will work within a small, agile team where adaptability, autonomy, and the ability to work across a variety of subjects are essential.

Key responsabilities:

1. Data, Structuring & AI Operations

•       Structure and improve data governance (mapping, quality, standards, documentation, dashboard)

•       Design, structure, and maintain knowledge bases feeding our AI projects (RAG, LLMs, assistants)

•       Collect, clean, and enrich data from internal sources

•       Contribute to managing relationships with our technology partners (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Hugging Face): tracking access, licences, and roadmap

•       Produce regular reports on AI tool usage (adoption, performance, costs)

•       Define and monitor KPIs to steer AI initiatives and guide the roadmap

•       Develop data processing and analysis scripts in Python

•       Integrate and exploit APIs

•       Write technical documentation

•       Contribute to the development of AI projects: POC, iterations, production deployment

•       Automate workflows related to data management and updates

•       Collaborate with IT teams for the integration of AI solutions

•       Ensure the reliability and reproducibility of processes (versioning, best practices)

2. Project Coordination & Monitoring

•       Write technical and educational materials to facilitate the adoption of solutions

•       Maintain constant monitoring of AI topics, tools, new technologies, and use cases

•       Write and produce articles / newsletter content to promote AI initiatives within the school

•       Contribute to project coordination and progress tracking, in support of the team

•       Provide user support for AI tools deployed within the school

Profile required

Education & Experience

•       Student in M1 or M2 at an engineering school or university, with a specialisation in data, artificial intelligence, computer science, information systems, or digital transformation

•       A first experience (internship, student project, personal) in project management, content creation, data analysis, or educational innovation is a real plus

•       Strong and demonstrated interest in AI and its practical applications in organisations

Hard Skills

Data:

•       Good command of Python

•       Experience with textual data manipulation

•       Good command of SQL, Power BI, and advanced Excel (modelling, reporting, visualisation)

•       Basic knowledge of applied AI: embeddings, vector databases, RAG

Engineering:

•       Experience integrating and exploiting REST APIs

•       Comfortable with prompt engineering & model tuning (Temperature, top_p, etc.)

•       Good command of software architecture principles and ability to design, read, and produce explanatory technical diagrams (ERD, etc.)

•       Knowledge of data pipelines (collection, transformation, and orchestration)

•       Proficiency with Git and solid understanding of CI/CD practices (continuous integration and deployment)

•       Basic knowledge of containerisation with Docker (creating, managing, and deploying environments)

Tools & Environment:

•       Proficiency with generative AI tools: OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, Hugging Face

•       Comfortable with collaborative tools: Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Monday.com or equivalent

•       Understanding of AI ethics, data compliance, and digital sustainability issues

Soft Skills

•       Autonomy & initiative: ability to progress on several projects in parallel without constant supervision
