As part of ESCP’s Communications team in France, you will contribute to strengthening the School’s reputation and visibility through a broad range of communications activities.

Working closely with the French PR & Communications Manager, you will be primarily involved in press relations and media monitoring. You will also work with other members of the team to promote ESCP’s latest news, academic expertise and key events across our communication channels.

This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in communications within a leading international business school and to work on a variety of press, editorial, social media and digital projects.

 

Main Responsibilities

 

Press Relations

  • Support day-to-day press relations activities, including identifying relevant journalists and drafting pitches, press releases and invitations.
  • Help coordinate interviews and press events.
  • Monitor media coverage, compile press reviews and keep press resources up to date.
  • Keep track of current affairs to identify newsjacking opportunities and connect relevant topics with ESCP’s academic expertise.
  • Create and manage a monthly newsletter for journalists.
  • Contribute to media monitoring, thematic research and benchmarking.

Social Media & Content

  • Help cover ESCP events across social media by producing photos, videos, stories, interviews and other engaging content.
  • Create content for the School’s social media channels, including photos, videos, infographics, graphics and carousels.
  • Identify emerging trends and suggest creative content formats tailored to different platforms and audiences.
  • Support the planning and organisation of content within the editorial calendar.

Profile required

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent writing skills in French, with a strong command of spelling and grammar, and a good level of written and spoken English.
  • A strong interest in current affairs, media, press relations, communications and social media.
  • Good analytical and summarising skills, with the ability to identify key information and connect current topics with the School’s areas of expertise.
  • A creative mindset and an interest in developing content ideas for different channels and audiences.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage several tasks at the same time while meeting deadlines.
  • Proactive, curious and eager to learn, with the ability to become increasingly independent throughout the internship.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the confidence to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut or Adobe Creative Suite would be an advantage.
