As part of the development of its School of Technology, ESCP is seeking an experienced academic profile in scientific support and higher education to contribute to the academic excellence of its programmes.
The role combines academic coordination, and research responsibilities. The appointed person will contribute to the scientific coordination of the Bachelor, MSc and Executive Education programmes, while supporting the academic development of the School of Technology.
The appointed person will work closely with programme managers, teaching faculty, research teams and administrative teams to ensure programme quality, improve the student experience and contribute to the academic visibility of the School.
Reporting to the School of Technology, the appointed person will be responsible for:
- contributing to the scientific coordination of the School of Technology’s Bachelor, MSc and Executive Education programmes;
- supporting the academic development and continuous improvement of teaching content;
- coordinating exchanges with the teaching faculty to ensure the smooth running of courses and academic activities;
- conducting high-quality research aligned with the scientific priorities of the School of Technology;
- publishing in international peer-reviewed academic journals;
- contributing to interdisciplinary research initiatives combining technology, management and innovation;
- supporting the integration of research into teaching and curriculum development;
- taking part in academic events, conferences, seminars and research collaborations;
- contributing to the international visibility and academic reputation of the School of Technology.
Profile required
The successful candidate will hold a PhD in technology management, mathematics, engineering, physics, computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, innovation management or a closely related discipline.
The person will have at least 5 years of academic experience after obtaining the PhD.
The selected profiles will also bring:
- a consistent research track record, with publications in international peer-reviewed journals;
- teaching experience in higher education, particularly at Bachelor and Master levels;
- experience in Executive Education, which will be considered an asset;
- experience or a confirmed interest in coordinating academic programmes;
- the ability to supervise Master’s dissertations and contribute to doctoral supervision;
- good organisational, coordination and project management skills;
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- the ability to work in an international and multicultural academic environment;
- a confirmed interest in interdisciplinary approaches at the intersection of technology, management and innovation;
- excellent command of English; knowledge of French is an asset.
The appointed person’s commitment to academic excellence, student success and pedagogical innovation will be essential to success in this role.
