SUPERPROD develops, produces and distributes animated and fictional feature films and TV series and has its own animation studios in Paris, Angoulême, Milan and Luxemburg as well as an office in Los Angeles.

• Under the direct authority of the production manager and with the support of the Head of CG, the VFX Supervisor:
• He/she is the main point of contact between the studio, the director and the producers.
• He/she organizes and leads the review scenes.
• He/she is responsible for communicating the constraints and possibilities to the art direction and the director.
• Ensures that the CG work meets the expectations of the art director.
• Supervises the production from an artistic and technical point of view.
• Works with the Production Manager to achieve objectives within the budget.
• He/she is responsible for the analysis of the animatic, sets and adapts its feasibility in accordance with the constraints defined by the production management, and validates the work time estimates of the departments.
• He/she accompanies the director, the art director and the animation director to be the relay with the production teams.
• He/she supervises the cg sups and relies on them to carry technical decisions through the teams.
• He/she defines the production workflow in accordance with the existing pipeline (maintained by the TD and R&D department), the artistic direction (defined by the director and AD) of the project in compliance with the schedule and quotas provided by the production.
• He/she makes decisions related to the production methods after evaluation with the departments' supervisors, before production, during episode preparation, and in particular cases of invalidation/special client requests.
• Coordinates with department supervisors on manufacturing tests and/or look development to achieve the desired quality within the defined project envelope.
• Coordinates and centralizes communication between all department supervisors on the project and is responsible for escalating/synthesizing any issues that may impact the schedule or costs to the production manager.
• He/she is the guarantor of good communication with the teams regarding the project.
• Organizes and conducts client and team meetings.
• Participate in the recruitment of supervisors.
• He/she proposes improvements to the common Superprod pipeline
• Start date : ASAP 
• End date of the mission  : End of 2024 => long term project 

Profile required

Minimum 5 years of experience in animation cinema, animated series or vfx.

At least one supervisory experience.

At least one feature film experience .

Good knowledge of management and ability to develop his team.

Serious knowledge in Maya, ShotGun, Katana, Arnold , Nuke (Essential)

Completely bilingual (French/English)

Must be comfortable in a Linux environment is a plus.

Capacity to respect tight deadlines

Knowledge of the whole CG pipeline.
