To provide test solutions with associated documentation for the industrialization and introduction of new high reliability products into production. Provide technical support to production, liaising with R&D and to support manufacturing to ensure any issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.

• Test bench design (HW and SW) support
• Test bench installation & commissioning, SW integration and Regression tests
• Create test design documentation including test instructions, specifications, drawings, and verification plans.
• Check test solutions with Health and Safety team
• Delivery of the new test solution to production team
• Liaise with SED and Technical leader on Technical ETS/DMTS issues
• Work to resolve specific Product issues- Test failures/test issues
• Liaise with SED and Technical leaders on product performance issues detected during electrical/Optical/Performance testing
• Provide technical support to manufacturing including hands-on debug of test systems.
• Support manufacturing according to the business requirements (Week and weekend)
• Training and support of manufacturing on new test process
• DR2M support – Issue of composite TIS & Test software
• Liaise with and keep the database team informed of any changes impacting SW/ or database
• Analysis of first-off test results
• Report on progress of capacity increase to technical leaders
• Support the industrialisation in caring out failure analysis on product returns from Calais/field
• Work closely with the R&D, Production, Quality, Engineering, and Production Engineering teams.

Wanted profil

Education, KNOWLEDGE, and Experience required for the job

• Degree calibre level in electronics or related disciplines.
• Proven track record in a test development environment.
• Design and application experience of production test equipment.
• Understanding of electromechanical production processes.
• Experience in developing tests for automatic execution.
• Knowledge / experience of cellular manufacture, Lean Manufacturing, kaizen, and 5S would be an advantage.
• Experience in working in Product Design and industrialisation as an engineer for at least 5-10 years
• Experience in High voltage testing & Low voltage testing
