Description du poste

Dedicated to highly complex and key projects, the Senior PFC drives the project profitability and other financial indicators from initiation to project closure. She/he is accountable for monitoring and analyzing major financial KPIs (sales, margin, operating working capital, …).

She/he acts as business partner of the Global Program Manager (GPM) and provides financial expertise throughout project life cycle, to initiate any action fostering value creation for the company (revenue recognition, financial risk assessment, margin improvement, …). She/he is accountable for ensuring the highest standards of business controls & data integrity while maximizing Projects value creation, combining the achievement of committed margins with optimized use of capital, through strong partnership with the project teams driving together the project to success, optimizing opportunity while containing risks.

Within the ASN Finance Organization, in the Business Controlling function, the scope includes the full responsibility of worldwide projects. Reports directly to ASN PFC Lead.

  • As Financial business partner, support GPM team for one single project or a set of projects. Can be involved in the offer cycle supporting offer control when required notably for the project initial budget (PFORM). In charge of analyzing PFORM & building the FCAC Baseline (budget update for project implementation phase) with GPM/PM to support end-to-end consistency with presales.
  • Pro actively build and maintain a strong Project Review process together with the PM, constantly mitigating risks and maximizing opportunities in order to best monitor Project Financial exposure and performance: order, sales, end-to-end margin, inventory & cash flow
  • Support to the Project Managers (PM) on the project financial actual, providing guidance to drive the project, and analyzing root causes of margin deviations
  • Assist PM in translating operational events & risks into financial impacts
  • Ensure accuracy & transparency of project financials for actual & forecasts including non recurrent items
  • Control & drive project financials in SAP through the project cycle:
    • Contract administration: structure the project Billing Milestones and Price Schedule in the ERP, manage Contract Variations, manage cash requests to customers, book revenue and margin according to Nokia group rules
    • Revenue Recognition and credit risk policies for long term contracts (POC accounting),
  • Actual detailed cost and operating working capital analysis,
  • Project costs & margin forecasts including currency effects (FCAC)
  • Ensure the integrity of the project financial data, proper documentation, compliance to financial group policies, SOX & ethics standards together with Accounting & auditors
  • Actively contribute to closing and forecasting processes

    Competencies and experience required

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting with 5 to 7 years experience, including 2 years minimum in financial control of complex projects.
    • Strong business acumen, ability to identify risks & opportunities and and result oriented
    • Excellent attention to details combined with synthesis skills
    • Excellent communication skills and presence, ability to influence and interact effectively with upper management
    • Fluent in English
    • Ability to travel from time to time
