Description du poste

Within ASN's Oil & Gas Business Unit, the Oil & Gas Engineering department is responsible for managing the following main tasks:

  • Define ASN's O&G product and solution strategy based on market needs;
  • Manage life cycle of ASN's current and future product/service portfolio for the O&G market;
  • Manage project specific engineering activities requested for concept studies, initial engineering design and EPC/EPCI procurement contracts;
  • Ensure within the project team the coordination of engineering and manufacturing activities required for the delivery of EPC/EPCI contracts undertaken for O&G customers (Chief Engineer and Project Industrial Manager roles within the project team).


Mission:

Within the O&G Engineering department, the O&G PIM is responsible for all industrial aspects of the O&G projects to which he/she is assigned, including mainly:

  • Manufacturing or/and procurement of equipment for the O&G DC/FO and FOC product lines, in compliance with the contract requirements (functionality, planning, quality and HSE);
  • The installation and testing of dry plant on station or on platform.

He/she will be the project team's reference for the client on its subjects, and will manage the acceptances required by the client in relation with the quality team.

Within the project team:

  • He/she actively participates in the internal or external coordination meetings of the project execution, as well as:
    • The Technical Hand Over meeting between the sales team and the project team;
    • The internal Kick Off Meeting for which he/she provides cost and risk analysis elements;
  • He/she contributes to the analysis and optimisation of the project costs in relation with the project manager;
  • In collaboration with the Chief Engineer, he/she organizes start up meeting for a manufacturing or supply for each of the system's equipment;
  • He/she communicates to the factories and the purchasing manager the expected information/inputs as well as the contractual requirements and deadlines to be met;
  • He/she monitors the progress of the manufacturing and/or procurement process up to delivery on site or loading on ship, initiating ad hoc corrective measures necessary to meet the deadlines defined in the contract;
  • He/she ensures that the manufacturing sequences are consistent with the ship loading and installation plan;
  • He/she liaises with the Logistics Manager to ensure that all project equipment is shipped in line with the project requirements, on time and with all relevant documentation;
  • He/she organizes and monitors all operations related to the installation and testing of dry plant on station or on platform, including preliminary operations (reconnaissance missions, orders for installation materials, shipment of equipment, installation materials and test means, etc.);
  • He/she contributes to the resolution of crisis situations (definition of scenarios and solutions, communication with the client);
  • He/she ensures that the documents required by the client for manufacturing, logistics, handling, maintenance and operation comply with the contract requirements and are available within the agreed timeframe. He/she ensures that these documents are archived on sDMS;
  • He/she provides the client with the project information requested to feed his/her MRP, through collaborative tools provided by the client (Procosys or others);
  • He/She organizes the training courses requested by the customer;
  • He/she is in charge of closing the deficiencies found on the equipment before the acceptance of the system by the customer;
  • After the acceptance of the system by the customer, he/she organises with the Chief Engineer (Chief Enginer) a project handover meeting to Direction Services (After-Sales).

Profil recherché

Skills:

  • Project management;
  • Fluent English;
  • General knowledge of a supply chain/production tools and associated constraints;
  • Knowledge of submarine O&G production systems;
  • Ability to analyze, to synthesize and to challenge him/herself;
  • Ability to adapt quickly to the needs of the client;
  • Ability to work in a team and share information;
  • Ability to travel worldwide even at short notice.

Experience and education required:

  • Master's level in science or equivalent degree;
  • Experience in a subsea system activity;
  • Experience in project management;
  • Experience in customer relations.
