The Technical Services Engineer is a position within the ASN Services Directorate, reporting to the Technical Services Director.

The primary mission is to provide technical support to ASN customers and make sure the KPI are always respected.

The secondary mission is to ensure the project follow up from the Provisional Acceptance up to the end of life.

This role will be based in the Company’s offices in Villarceaux (France) but travels will be required.

Responsibilities

· Ensure the resolution of technical issues reported by our customers

· Participate to the “on-call” activity (24h/7d)

· Guarantee the fulfillment of our commitments (KPIs)

· Manage submarine projects and provide the related monitoring reports (resolution of technical problem, status of the repair & the technical support activities…)

· Interface with other ASN Departments

• Participate to Customer meetings on request
• Participate in on-site interventions as part of preventive or curative missions (short duration)

Profile required

Skills:

Knowledge of Cisco IOS (routers and switches)

Knowledge of Unix/Linux environment

Basics of telecom network and transmission product security

Experience in subsea products and systems, with Telecom background

Ability to analyze, challenge and synthetize information,

Ability for teamwork and to share information,

Proficient in English.

Computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project

Ability to travel worldwide

Ability to manage stress in situation of crisis.
