2. PRIMARY PURPOSE AND OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB:

To ensure the efficient running of the ASN Warehouse; responsible for the day-to-day management of circa 30 people; define operational standards; maximise workflow efficiencies, set and monitor weekly team output.

Responsible for staff performance, absent management, training and any employee relation matters.

4. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

Process:

· Understand Incoming Goods processes and drive improvements, where necessary

· Understand the Inventory Control processes and documentation in order to better support the Production/Operations.

· Ensure the SAP stock records for materials are accurate and transactions occur in line with SLAs.

· Ensure accurate transaction of materials from receipt of product through to the delivery into various production areas.

· Ensure correct and accurate implementation of stock counts.

· Enable team members to participate in innovation, change management and process improvement initiatives

· Lead departmental meetings and stock reviews as required.

· Work with the ASN systems teams in change implementation as required by their management.

· Ensure all processes and rules are adhered to by all staff members, quality is a top priority.

· Provide support to other Supervisors and Team Leaders in order to reduce lost time and inefficiencies.

· Competent in dealing with employee relations matters.

Team Work:

· Mentor Supervisors and Team Leaders, ensuring expectations and standards are clearly understood.

· Promote good employee relations, motivation and team morale.

· Communicate effectively with departmental staff and internal customers.

· Build and maintain good working relationships across the business at all levels.

Planning and Reporting

· Oversee the activity within Stores and Inventory Control departments, to meet production plans.

· Liaise with Manufacturing to ensure material availability.

· Attended relevant meetings, ensuring you have relevant information.

· Maintain relevant metrics (dashboards & efficiencies).

Training

· Ensure department Training Competency Records are up to date.

· Ensure departmental training qualification/re-qualification plans are up to date, liaise with Training Team as necessary.

QHSE

· Responsible for the implementation and adherence to ASN’s Health & Safety Policy and processes, ensure staff understand HSE standards and act accordingly.

· Oversee the adherence to local clean area rules (ESD, Washing hands etc); manage a zero non-compliance standard.

· Ensure department product paperwork/SAP is correctly completed.

· Respond to product quality issues in a timely manner.

· Ensure Departmental health safety checks are carried out on time and equipment is labelled where required.

· Maintain a valid RISK & COSHH assessment folders. Carry out yearly assessment reviews, ensure staff adherence, ensure PPE available.

· Ensure ESD Protocols are followed by departmental staff.

· Ensure Hazardous Waste is removed from the area in a timely fashion.

· Report all Accidents and/or Near Misses in a timely manner to HSE Department.

Administrative

· Responsible for time and attendance

· Provide management/activity reports as necessary

· Responsible for reviewing and approving agency worker timesheets

· Ensure all staff have necessary software and access rights

· Participate in recruitment activities
