ATLANTIS ANIMATION is an animation studio based in the heavenly Canary Island of Tenerife. A combination of creative talent and technology definitely distinguishes us as a different studio to produce high quality animated series and feature films. We produced the sensational series Tara Duncan and Miraculous Ladybug season 5, both broadcasted on Disney Channel and Disney +.

We are now getting ready for an absolutely new captivating project, the series 'Messi and the Giants', produced by Sony Music Vision, Sony Pictures Television Kids and Leo Messi Management, and broadcasted by Disney. An epic saga where a young boy named Leo is transported from his home in Argentina into a fantastical alternate universe.

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Editor to lead our post-production editorial team. As Chief Editor, you will oversee the editing process for all animation projects, ensuring narrative clarity, pacing, and visual continuity. You will collaborate closely with directors, producers, animators, and sound designers to shape the final storytelling of our productions.

Profile required

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the editorial team throughout all phases of production and post-production.
  
  

• Supervise the editing of animatics, rough cuts, and final cuts of 3D animated content.
  
  

• Work closely with directors to ensure creative vision is maintained and enhanced in the edit.
  
  

• Collaborate with production management to meet deadlines and stay within project scope.
  
  

• Maintain consistency in tone, rhythm, and storytelling across episodes or films.
  
  

• Integrate wallas, sound, music, and VFX to support and enhance the narrative flow on animatics.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chief Editor or Senior Editor in the animation industry.
  
  

• Strong storytelling and pacing instincts.
  
  

• Expertise in editing software (e.g., Avid, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Storyboard Pro).
  
  

• Solid understanding of the 3D animation pipeline and its editorial needs.
  
  

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  
  

• Ability to work onsite in Tenerife.

• EU citizenship or a valid Spanish work permit.

• Fluency in English (Spanish is a plus).
