Post description

- Responsible for rate negotiation and carrier assignment.

- Outbound shipment tracking and follow up.

- Ensure orders will ship on time, have a proper pick up/shipping appointment.

- Follow up of all orders to ensure they have shipped and arrived on time.

- Daily communication with warehouses with different time zones.

- Assist with reporting of carriers, shipments and department’s performance

- Transportation invoices approval.

Additional tasks necessary to support the Transportation Division 

Profile required

- Happy and Smiley!

- Experience in Logistics and Inland/Ocean Transportation. Experience with reefer is a plus.

- Excellent analytical and administrative skills.

- Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.). 

- Experience with ERP systems. Sage X3 system is a plus. 

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Great attention to detail.

- Ability to problem solve and rapidly shift priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Fluent English written and oral.
