Automated Repacking Line – Mareblu | Colleferro (Rome)

• Own the performance of a brand-new automated production line

• A new automated bundling line is about to go live in our Colleferro logistics warehouse to prepare Mareblu products for customers across Italy.

• This is a unique opportunity to take full technical ownership of a strategic line and become the key reference for its reliability, performance and continuous improvement.

• It is a hands-on, end-to-end ownership position combining commissioning, maintenance leadership and performance improvement.

🎯 Your mission

To guarantee long-term, safe and high-performance operation of the automated repacking line by combining technical expertise, maintenance ownership and continuous improvement.

You will act as:

• Technical reference for the line

• Owner of maintenance strategy and execution

• Driver of performance and reliability improvements

⚙ What you will do

🔧 Commissioning & ramp-up

• Actively support commissioning and ramp-up of the new line

• Define, with the implementation team, the first operating and maintenance standards

🛠 Maintenance & reliability

• Design and manage the complete maintenance plan (preventive, autonomous, corrective)

• Perform hands-on mechanical, pneumatic and electrical interventions within your skill set

• Train and coach 3PL line operators on standard and autonomous maintenance

• Coordinate local contractors and OEM service engineers

• Support 3PL teams in cleaning, set-up and line preparation to maximise productivity

• Create, maintain and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures

• Ensure safe, stable and efficient operation of the line by all operators

🔍 Continuous improvement

• Capture performance and loss data in real time

• Analyse stops, failures and micro-losses

• Identify root causes and implement sustainable improvements using CI tools

• High and stable line performance against agreed targets

• Minimal unplanned downtime and fast recovery

• Maintenance programme executed within budget

• Robust and up-to-date operating and maintenance standards

Profil recherché

🧠 The profile we are looking for

• You are a hands-on, experienced technical professional with a strong mechatronics / automation background and a passion for industrial performance.

• Must-have

• Strong core skills in electro-mechanics / mechatronics

• Expertise in mechanical and pneumatic systems on automated packaging equipment

• Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems (24 V / 400 V, sensors, actuators, motors, schematics)

• Comfortable using Siemens PLC / HMI diagnostics (alarms, I/O checks, parameter adjustments within limits)

• Experience with changeovers and format set-ups on packaging lines

• Used to working closely with operators and logistics teams

Nice to have / strong advantage

• Experience with structured maintenance systems (autonomous, preventive, corrective)

• Practical use of Continuous Improvement tools (RCA, Why-Why, Kaizen, loss analysis)

• Solid understanding of machinery safety, lock-out / tag-out and isolation procedures

• Self-starter with natural leadership and the ability to influence without formal authority
