Context
Give your career a boost by joining a strategic project at the heart of Rennes School of Business' international development.
Rennes SB and South China Normal University (SCNU) are opening a Joint Institute in Foshan, near Guangzhou (Guangdong province). This is a major academic partnership that is fully in line with the School's strategy in China.
We are looking for a Vice Dean who can represent Rennes SB on site, guarantee the academic quality of the programs and steer the Institute's development in a demanding, bi-institutional, and intercultural environment.
This position is for someone with solid experience in higher education. It also requires strong diplomatic skills, an aptitude for institutional representation and the ability to work in a partnership environment where dialogue, cooperation and discernment are essential.
Your ability to thrive in an intercultural context, particularly in China and a genuine motivation for a long-term international assignment will be decisive assets.
As Rennes SB's representative on site, you will work closely with the SCNU Dean's Office, while reporting to the Dean of Programs of Rennes SB.
You will be directly involved in the Joint Institute's strategic decisions: academic governance, program management, management activities, quality and institutional relations. This is a rare opportunity offering a strategic role, a stimulating environment, and significant international exposure.
The position will begin on September 1, 2026.
