Weld World est une entreprise spécialisée dans l’accompagnement technique et l’expertise en soudage industriel. Nous apportons des solutions sur mesure aux problématiques soudage et aux exigences spécifiques des secteurs du nucléaire, du pétrole et du gaz.
Notre équipe est composée d’ingénieurs et d’experts possédant des compétences reconnues en QA/QC, ingénierie des matériaux, conception, fabrication et contrôle non destructif (CND). Grâce à notre réseau d’écoles et de spécialistes, nous garantissons un haut niveau d’expertise et une approche pragmatique des projets industriels.
Nos domaines d’intervention :
- Nucléaire : Surveillance fournisseurs, évaluation des systèmes qualité, maîtrise du code RCC-M et des spécifications EDF, suivi des fabrications soudées.
- Pétrole & Gaz : Conception, rédaction de spécifications soudage et inspection, sélection des matériaux, suivi des fabrications, assurance qualité et contrôle qualité.
- Soudage et CND : Expertise sur tous les procédés de soudage (GTAW, GMAW, SAW, SMAW…) et de contrôle (UT, RT, PT, MT…), conformité aux normes RCC-M, EN 15614, API, AWS, ASME, DNV.
Description du poste
Location: Gdansk, Poland
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Duration: 12 months renewable
Key Responsibilities :
• Ensure QA/QC activities are in line with contract and specifications
• Review and manage Contractor’s Project Quality Plan, ITPs, and procedures
• Define and implement surveillance strategy through a dynamic inspection plan
• Coordinate a team of site QC Inspectors across disciplines (Welding, Painting, Electrical, etc.)
• Report to the Quality Manager and liaise daily with the project team
• Conduct site inspections, documentation review, and audit support
• Manage and track non-conformities (NCRs) and punch lists from issue to close-out
• Maintain inspection records and verify document traceability and completeness
• Monitor QA/QC dossiers and mechanical completion progress
• Facilitate lessons learned and continuous improvement processes
Profil recherché
Required Qualifications :
- Technical Degree, or equivalent
- Minimum 8–10 years of QA/QC experience in construction or manufacturing
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar QC Lead role
- Welding/NDT qualifications (e.g., ISO9712 Level 2 or equivalent)
- Registered Lead Auditor
- Member of CQI or equivalent
- Language : Mandatory fluent in Polish & English, French is a plus.
Key Skills and Attributes
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and QA/QC principles
- Proven experience in offshore or HVDC substation projects
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lead, influence, and mentor in a multicultural project environment
- High level of organization, documentation control, and reporting
