Our fields of expertise:
Nuclear: Supplier surveillance, quality system assessments, mastery of the RCC-M code and EDF specifications, and monitoring of welded fabrications.
Oil & Gas: Design, drafting of welding specifications and inspection plans, material selection, fabrication follow-up, quality assurance, and quality control.
Welding & NDT: Expertise in all welding processes (GTAW, GMAW, SAW, SMAW, etc.) and inspection methods (UT, RT, PT, MT, etc.), ensuring compliance with RCC-M, EN 15614, API, AWS, ASME, and DNV standards.
About the job
You will join our client's team on the HVAC production departement (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning Systems). You will be based in Lyon with frequent travel in France and across Europe.
You will be responsible for :
- Implementing surveillance at suppliers' premises and witness manufacturing and control steps,
• Detecting any deviations to the technical requirements,
• Establishing highly reliable surveillance report,
• Acting as a liaison to the Package Leads and engineers to address deviations, non-conformances (NCR) and non-compliances raised on their workpackage,
• Following up the progress of treatment of discrepancies /NCR until closure,
• Reviewing supplier’s documentation such as manufacturing & control procedure and records (such as End Of Manufacturing Reports),
• You will participate to identify quality risks and opportunities in the supply chain,
Experience and skills
• Degree Level 5 / BAC+5 in a relevant engineering discipline (HVAC, Material, assembly)
• Ideally IWT or IWE
• Experience in materials processing & permanent assembly (welding), metallurgical, mechanical / electrical or electro-mechanical engineering, manufacturing, auditing, inspection & test activitiesand surveillance of fabrication by suppliers,
• At least 3 years’ experience of quality assurance and quality control in highly regulated sectors (nuclear, oil & gas, rail, aerospace),
• Demonstrate a commitment to quality and nuclear safety,
• Knowledge of international and European standards, industry code of practice, and knowledge of welding,
• Ability to review manufacturing and control procedure and end of manufacturing report (traceability),
• Written and oral confidence in English and French.
