Our fields of expertise:
Nuclear: Supplier surveillance, quality system assessments, mastery of the RCC-M code and EDF specifications, and monitoring of welded fabrications.
Oil & Gas: Design, drafting of welding specifications and inspection plans, material selection, fabrication follow-up, quality assurance, and quality control.
Welding & NDT: Expertise in all welding processes (GTAW, GMAW, SAW, SMAW, etc.) and inspection methods (UT, RT, PT, MT, etc.), ensuring compliance with RCC-M, EN 15614, API, AWS, ASME, and DNV standards.
About the job
You will join our client's team on the HVAC production departement (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning Systems). You will be based in Lyon with occasional travel, mainly in France and across Europe.
You will be responsible for :
• Implement reviews of supply chain final documentation such as End Of Manufacturing Report,
• Detecting any deviations in the traceability and records,
• Establishing highly reliable review sheet,
• Acting as a liaison with the Package Leads and engineers to address comments and
deviations to the technical requirements,
• Following up the progress of documentation review,
• You will be responsible for the completeness of supplier’s answers in any revisions driven by our client’s comments,
• You are able to lead a task force or contribute to it in order to manage reviews backlog, identify quality risks and opportunities regarding documentation and traceability,
• You will participate to compile and merge documentation review data to produce dashboards and instructions.
Experience and skills
- Degree Level 5 / BAC+5 in a relevant engineering discipline
- Experience in production such as materials processing, manufacturing, assembly, and controls.
- Understanding of metallurgical, mechanical or electro-mechanical requirements,
- Knowledge of international and European standards, industry codes, and practice,
- At least 3 and ideally 10 years’ experience of quality assurance and quality control in highly regulated sectors (nuclear, oil & gas, rail, aerospace),
- Committed to quality and nuclear safety,
- Honest and involved team player, confident in oral communication
- Advanced level in Written English and technical vocabulary, Elementary in French is acceptable.
- Competent with using EDMS software (Electronic Documents Management Système)
- Good knowledge of Excel and word is mandatory
- Ideally competent using data visualisation software such as Power Bi or Power Pivot
