About us
ASN's Energy Solutions Business Unit develops and markets solutions for the energy sector through several product lines, including Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) technology.
We have the the ambition to develop the market footprint of the high-performance Distributed Acoustic Sensing interrogator (OptoDAS), which allows to use an unmarked optical fibre present in an installed cable as a mean for listening to the environment.
The technical solution proposed by ASN differentiates on the market by an exceptional measurement quality that will allow our customers to improve the understanding of the fiber’s ecosystem, that is a necessary condition for optimal decision-making.
The range of potential applications of DAS technology is broad: power cable monitoring, O&G production monitoring, infrastructure integrity monitoring, detection of threats on infrastructure, earthquake detection, etc.
In this context of expansion, we are looking for a DAS Sales Manager.
Your missions
Within the Energy Solutions Sales & Marketing department, you will be in charge of the commercial development of the DAS (Distributed Acoustic Sensing) product line for market segments addressed by the Business Unit (O&G, Power cable, windfarm, Defense, scientific…) and the preparation of commercial offers of related equipment and services.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- developing and managing a portfolio of customer accounts for the DAS product line;
- developing and managing business partnership agreements in support of DAS business development responsible;
- presenting the DAS equipment and services offer to customers;
- collaborating upstream with end-users or integrators to best position ASN’s DAS equipment and services offering;
- coordinating DAS commercial offers being responsible for the preparation of offers and their submission (content, timeliness, quality);
- ensuring the consistency of the offer with the defined strategy, and recommending to the management the scenarios that allow a winning strategy;
- preparing the administrative and commercial documents of the offer such as: the commercial compliance table, the prices, the billing schedule, the schedule;
- consolidating the costs of the offer including the costs of specific equipment, services and development associated with the offer;
- adjusting the mark-up, exchange rates, selling costs and discounts and calculating the estimated profitability of the offer;
- managing the communication with the client during the tender phase and then during the execution of the contracts.
Wanted profil
Keys to success
You have at least 5 years' successful experience as a sales Manager in fiber optic sensing (DTS and/or DAS) in the Oil & Gas industry and in international trade.
You have an interest in technology and innovation and are keen to deepen your knowledge of the market.

- Enjoy teamwork and information sharing;
- Ability to analyse, challenge and synthesize;

- Ability to travel worldwide;
- Fluent in English.
