Your missions
As the Energy Solutions Marine Bid Manager, your role involves working in our pre-engineering and bid team. Together, we create tailored submarine cable solutions and offers for our customers. You’ll collaborate closely with the Technical Bid Manager and the Commercial Bid Manager to deliver our proposals. Specifically, your focus will be on managing the marine aspect. This means coordinating efforts with both internal resources and external contractors to create our marine solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Work individually and with the team to create submarine cable solutions and offers to our customers.
- Participate in meetings with our customers.
- Listen to and understand our customers’ requirements.
- Review contractual and technical tender documentation for marine requirements.
- Develop, with our Route Engineer, the cable route, taking into account routing constraints given by both the costumer and the cable properties.
- Manage the pre-engineering scope to define the installation methodology.
- Define associated installation time and establish the marine costs (consolidation of vessel day rate, mobilization/demobilization/logistics costs, engineering man hours)
- Manage the marine clarification and qualification process.
- Coordinate internal technical review of the marine cost pack
Wanted profil
About you
You have a degree in engineering or a master mariner / chief engineer certificate.
You have 5 years' successful experience of marine operations related to cable laying or flexible products.
Your skills and competencies:
- Experience with offshore installation the Oil & Gas industry.
- Knowledge of cable/umbilical or flexibles installation
- Knowledge of offshore standards and requirements (DNVGL, NORSOK, Client specific requirements)
- Good understanding Orcaflex, Autocad, Survey software
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel etc.
- Fluent in English both written and orally
- Teamwork and information sharing
- Ability to adapt quickly to customer needs.
