Role Summary

As an HR Manager you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of first-class operational support, advise and guidance to a dedicated group of business functions, on a wide range of employee related matters.

Working with cross-functional partners and external occupational health services, the HR Manager will support, both employees and line managers, on all aspects of the employment relationship.

 

Key Responsibilities

· Develop close working relationships, building trust and credibility, through the delivery of expert HR advise.

· Assist and develop managers by guiding them through HR processes, including recruitment, absence management, negotiations, grievances, case management and supporting challenging discussions.

· Manage the employee life cycle, end-to-end, across all HR processes

· Advise, influence and challenge managers to ensure the best possible outcome in all employee matters

· Provide coaching and mentoring to line managers, help them to improve management capability and enable them to self-serve

· Stay on top of developments in employment legislation and human resources, sharing knowledge to ensure continuous improvement

· Work with the wider HR community on HR initiatives: training and development, policy review/redesign, onboarding and wellbeing programmes.

Wanted profil

Person Specification

· Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management/Business Management or similar

· CIPD Level 7

· Demonstrable experience of managing complex employee relations cases, including absence management (long-term sickness), grievances, disciplinary hearings and appeals.

· Previous experience working with external Occupation Health partners, advantageous.

· Expenrience working in a multinational matrixed organisation, advantageous.

 

 

Further Information

· Full-Time, 5 Days per Week – 37.5 Hours.

· Hybrid Working Available – 3 Days in office per week.

· 25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays

· Up to 11% Pension Contribution from Employer
