Description du poste

As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security of our submarine networks. You will be part of a team responsible for implementing and maintaining cybersecurity features across our infrastructure.

 

 

This includes:

  • Security Equipment Management: Manage and configure firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security appliances.

 

  • Secure Design and Architecture: Participate in the design and implementation of secure network architectures for submarine cable systems.

 

  • Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security risks.

 

  • Incident Response: Respond to cybersecurity incidents, including investigation, containment, and recovery.

 

  • Threat Intelligence: Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities relevant to submarine networks.

 

  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including engineering, operations, and customer support, to ensure the security of our systems.

Profil recherché

  • Must Have:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
    • 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on network security.  
    • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and common protocols.
    • Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
    • Knowledge of security standards and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Proficient in English.

 

  • Nice to Have:
    • Experience with submarine cable systems or telecommunications networks.
    • Knowledge of cryptography and encryption technologies.
    • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
    • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCNP Security.
