To answer to the diversification and growth of its Marine Operations, ASN Marine owns and develop a fleet of surface and subsea equipment and mobile units. Operated offshore onboard our fleet of Cableship or onboard vessels of opportunity, the equipment are characterized by their specificity and technicity.
ASN marine is looking for his/her « Marine Equipment technical Project Manager». Within the asset organization; the ME Technical PM will be responsible for the development, delivery of surface handling and subsea equipment. He will also ensure the technical follow up.
Your role spans across the project lifecycle as follow:
- During early Design phases (Concept, Basic Design); you lead development of technical solutions, prepare technical specifications, and lead the Request for Information (RFI) process engaging with key suppliers.
- During the project select phase, Request for Quotation (RFQ), you are the technical lead, preparing technical specifications and consolidating the budget. During the
- During the project execution, you manage the equipment delivery or modification/upgrade project and are responsible to deliver as per specification, within the budget and time.
- During operations, you interface and support the operational teams ensuring smooth mobilization onboard ASN or 3rd party chartered vessels, and back up to ensure operational efficiency.
Your main activities:
1. Concept and Basic Design
- Developing Technical requirements
- Basic design, technology
- ROM costs and budgeting
- Lead RFI (Request For Information) and supplier screening
2. Equipment tendering
- Technical specifications
- Lead RFQ from technical side, including clarifications and benchmarking
- Negotiate with suppliers
3. Project execution
- Manage the delivery as per budget, schedule; manage risks
- Coordinate and report to internal stakeholders
- Establish and follow up quality plan
- Conduct FMECA as necessary
- Prepare delivery to operation (spares; operations manuals, certification)
4. Equipment Lifecycle
- Ensure the CMMS application is up to date with equipment information
- Manage spares requirement in accordance with best practices and manufacturer recommandations
- Maintain up to date documentation
- Manage tooling and equipment evolution and obsolescence
Wanted profil
You have
- an MsC in Engineering, with 5-years’ experience in equipment design / supply with knowledge of offshore operations ideally from field assignment/experiences.
- or more than 10-years’ experience in offshore lifting equipment/subsea equipment construction; operations; maintenance and field operations and want to develop your project management skills.
You are solution-oriented, you work independently whilst as a team player interacting proactively within the Marine group team. You grasp concepts and technical details of complex systems, to propose solutions to the various stakeholders (Assets; operations; projects); then take the lead producing detailed specification as the requirement matures. You take the lead bring the project to execution.
The position is based in Suresnes (Paris Area) in ASN Marine office. Regular travel to visit suppliers/ partners will be required during the various stages of project execution, along with periodic visits to our ASN marine Hub in Dunkerque.
