OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB:
To provide technical support to product and test systems within submerged manufacturing plant and to ensure smooth production flow and provide ESD coordination.
Main accountabilities / activities include:
- Provide technical support for submerged Production.
- To prioritise and resolve critical production issues within reasonable timeframe.
- To ensure quality standards and support continues quality improvements.
- To analyse data to prove certain trends per contract and provide feedback to SCE.
- To dispose production technical JIRA requests (ITS) in timely manner.
- To support other new product introductions as required by management.
- To develop and maintain good communication lines with development engineers.
- To make improvements to existing test stations, that would include design simple station interfaces.
- Training of employees working in submerge manufacturing.
- To maintain cleanliness and lean working environment.
- To build, validate and commission test stations.
- To develop and maintain technical documentations.
- To ensure that test systems maintenance procedures are followed with proper paperwork and logbooks up to date.
- To participate in analysis and debug of Field returns.
Wanted profil
Education/qualifications/experience:
- Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Optics, Opto-electronics or equivalent.
- Experience of Lean manufacturing principles an advantage.
- Experience of electro-mechanical / optical manufacturing.
- Knowledge of optical components, optical measurements, optical instruments, basic optical principles.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and believing in Lean culture/working environment Experience in electronic assemblies’ fault finding.
- Experience in automated assembly and test measurement processes.
- Experience in data analysis, graphs, histograms plotting etc.
- Experience of high reliability product manufacture is ideal.
- Ideal candidate will be a strong team player with good communication.
Rotating shift pattern – over weekdays and weekends
