Role purpose:
- The project financial controlling lead brings their financial and analytical expertise to the management of the profitability of long-term/complex projects and other financial indicators.
- They are responsible for monitoring and analysing key financial indicators in compliance with financial processes and standards.
- They are responsible for managing the team of project financial controllers.
Main activities:
· Manage a team of project financial controllers: carry out annual evaluations, define development plans and annual objectives, approve leave, manage the team from an HR point of view.
· Allocate projects within the team taking into account workload and complexity
· Act as key contact (SPOC) of the VP Project.
· Support on-demand Bids process including cost and revenue assumptions to support end-to-end consistency with pre-sales.
· Develop and maintain a robust project review process, in collaboration with project managers and the PMO, consolidation of project risks and opportunities.
· Analyse and monitor the evolutions and qualitative explanations of the relevant indicators for its scope (backlog flow, typology of margin variations, etc.) In close collaboration with the Business Analyst and other members of the Business Controlling team
· Ensure the accuracy and transparency of financial data for actuals and forecasts, including exceptional items and escalation to management if necessary.
· Supervise and actively contribute to monthly/quarterly close processes. Supervise the landing of the results of the period and the deviations from the forecast. Implement the necessary actions in close collaboration with marine, industrial and project operations.
· Participate in the development of budgets and 3-year plans as well as its analytical monitoring on projects (margin, cash, WCR)
· Define and implement revenue recognition procedures (Nokia/IFRS).
· Define and manage in close collaboration with the PMO teams & the various teams within finance the transformation, improvement, digitalization of financial procedures and the monitoring of key project indicators such as identification of bottlenecks, duplication and manual tasks.
· Actively contribute to cross-functional and structuring projects in the improvement or implementation of new tools.
· Contribute to internal/external audits for project impact analyses (margins, cash, WCR).
· Conduct SOX checks of its perimeter.
· Develop and ensure the maintenance of procedures and processes.
Wanted profil
Experience:
- 7 to 10 years of experience
- Experience of team management
- Mastery of MS suite (Excel, Power Point...)
- SAP proficiency
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills,
- Fluent English is required
- Knows how to work under constraints and short deadlines and meet deadlines
- Business school-type training, Batchelors degree in Finance, Management Control or Accounting (BAC+5)
