We are now involved on an absolutely new captivating project, the series 'Messi and the Giants', produced by Sony Music Vision, Sony Pictures Television Kids and Leo Messi Management, and broadcasted by Disney. An epic saga where a young boy named Leo is transported from his home in Argentina into a fantastical alternate universe.

ATLANTIS ANIMATION is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Animation Supervisor to join our creative team in Tenerife, Canary Islands. As an Animation Supervisor, you will lead and guide a talented team of animators, ensuring the successful execution of high-quality animation for a new exciting 3D animation project. Your role will involve overseeing the entire animation pipeline, collaborating with the director and other departments, and making sure that the animation vision is realized to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor a team of animators, providing guidance and feedback to achieve outstanding animation quality.

• Ensure the animation style and visual direction align with the creative goals of the project.

• Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and other departments (such as modeling, rigging, and lighting) to maintain a consistent creative vision.

• Review and approve animation work, ensuring deadlines and production standards are met.

• Troubleshoot and resolve animation issues, providing creative solutions.

• Manage the animation pipeline and ensure that the team follows the required processes and workflows.

• Foster a collaborative and positive working environment, encouraging team growth and development.

• Maintain high-quality work while ensuring efficiency in meeting production schedules.

Profile required

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years experience as animation supervisor.

• Proficiency in 2D/3D animation techniques and software (Maya, Blender, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of animation principles, timing, and character performance.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to give constructive feedback.

• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.

• A passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of animation as an art form.

• Previous experience working on 3D animation for television or film.

• Familiarity with the animation pipeline in a production environment.

• Spanish work permit.

Preferred:

• Availability to work on-site in Tenerife.

• Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
