We produced the sensational series Tara Duncan and Miraculous Ladybug season 5, both broadcasted on Disney Channel and Disney +.
We are now getting ready for an absolutely new captivating project, the series 'Messi and the Giants', produced by Sony Music Vision, Sony Pictures Television Kids and Leo Messi Management, and broadcasted by Disney. An epic saga where a young boy named Leo is transported from his home in Argentina into a fantastical alternate universe.

Job Description
We're seeking a skilled and passionate Senior-level Lookdev & Lighting Artist to join our growing team for the upcoming series Messi and the Giants.
As a Lookdev and Lighting Artist, you will play a key role in defining and delivering the visual quality of the show, working closely with the creative and production teams to ensure visually compelling, technically efficient, and consistent results across all shots.
Type of contract: Fixed-term Employee contract.
Location: Preferably on-site in Tenerife. Remote work may be considered as long as you are a Canarian resident.
Main Responsabilities and Requirements
Main Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Creative Leads and Supervisors to interpret and execute the visual goals of the project within established tools and pipelines.
- Lighting and rendering keyshots first, and then CG shots as part of a sequence, ensuring high-quality, visually appealing results aligned with the Supervisor’s vision.
- Maintain lighting consistency across shots and sequences.
- Optimise and troubleshoot lighting and rendering issues in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ensure render times remain optimized and within production budget.
- Collaborate closely with the Compositing team to bring shots from lighting through to final delivery, while respecting schedules and production quotas defined by the Production team.
Requirements:
- Proven professional experience as a Lighting Artist on a fully 3D animated series or feature film is required.
- Strong ability to interpret and execute creative briefs (verbal and visual).
- Solid understanding of lighting, rendering, and compositing workflows.
- Experience with industry-standard rendering, lighting, and compositing tools, particularly Arnold and Nuke.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate potential technical or artistic issues.
- Ability to manage time effectively and deliver tasks within production deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team mindset.
- Adaptable, flexible, and responsive to changes in production needs.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- A valid EU/Spanish work permit is required.
- Ability to work either on-site in our beautiful Tenerife studio or remotely, provided the candidate is officially registered (empadronado) in the Canary Islands.
