Within ESCP Business School’s Internships Department, the successful candidate manages the administrative processes related to internships and professional experiences in compliance with applicable regulations. The role serves as the key point of reference for a dedicated academic programme and develops in-depth knowledge of its specific requirements, schedule and priorities.

 

Key responsibilities

Internship administration

  • Prepare internship agreements governed by French law.
  • Monitor, review, accept and validate professional experience records, including internship agreements and other types of contracts.
  • Respond to questions from students, companies and internal departments regarding French internship legislation.
  • Participate in workshops and forums, in both English and French, to present the department, JobTeaser, programme requirements and French internship legislation.
  • Coordinate student profiles with the academic administration teams of the different programmes.
  • Report any issues, delays or situations requiring escalation to the Head of the Internships Unit and seek support from the person responsible for coordination to further develop operational skills.

Dedicated academic programme

  • Take responsibility for a specific academic programme and develop in-depth knowledge of it in order to provide support tailored to the programme and the specific needs of its students.
  • Develop detailed knowledge of the programme’s specific requirements, schedule, key milestones and priorities.
  • Act as the main point of contact for academic administration teams, students and partner companies regarding the assigned programme.

Profile required

  • A two- or three-year higher education degree (Bac +2/3) or equivalent; initial experience in an intercultural environment (more than 60% of the student population is international) would be an advantage.
  • Ability to organise workload and determine priorities, a strong service mindset, ability to work as part of a team, and attention to the quality and reliability of the work delivered.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a focus on supporting different audiences.
  • Interest in and confidence using digital tools and information systems.
  • Excellent command of both French and English, written and spoken, as the role involves regular communication in both languages.
  • Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) would be an advantage, given the student and corporate audiences supported.
