Résumé

En tant que Directrice adjointe ou Directeur adjoint en charge des opérations, au sein d’une Direction collégiale, vous êtes responsable de la gestion opérationnelle de l'Institut et des services qui vous sont rattachés (notamment informatique et infrastructure, ressources humaines, secrétariat).

 

Vos missions

  • Définir les orientations institutionnelles en matière de systèmes d’information, d’infrastructure, de cybersécurité et de sécurité des bâtiments ;
  • Définir et coordonner la politique des ressources humaines, en assurant la cohérence des pratiques RH avec les orientations stratégiques et les besoins opérationnels ;
  • Mettre en place et améliorer les procédures, les indicateurs et les outils nécessaires au suivi des activités ;
  • Planifier les besoins en ressources humaines, matérielles et infrastructurelles et contribuer, en collaboration avec le directeur adjoint en charge des finances, à leur implémentation dans la planification budgétaire;
  • Définir et assurer le suivi de la politique de gestion des risques et de contrôle interne ;
  • Représenter l’Idiap au sein des entités dans lesquelles votre participation est requise;

Votre profil

Essentiel :

  • Formation supérieure (Master universitaire ou HES, ou formation jugée équivalente) en gestion, management, économie, ingénierie ou domaine pertinent ;
  • Expérience confirmée (minimum 5 ans) dans la gestion opérationnelle ou administrative d’une organisation, incluant la conduite d’équipes pluridisciplinaires ;
  • Aisance à collaborer avec des interlocutrices et interlocuteurs variés (recherche, administration, autorités, partenaires), dans un environnement multiculturel ;
  • Expérience confirmée en management et bonne maitrise des enjeux de gestion des ressources humaines et développement organisationnel ;
  • Très bonne maîtrise du français et de l’anglais (langues de travail).

Atouts (facultatifs) :

  • Expérience dans un environnement académique ou de recherche

Role Summary

As Deputy Director for Operations, working within a joint leadership team, you are responsible for the operational management of the Institute and its associated departments (IT and Infrastructure, Human Resources, and Secretariat).

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Define institutional guidelines regarding information systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and building security
  • Define and coordinate human resources policy, ensuring that HR practices align with strategic directions and operational needs
  • Implement and improve procedures, metrics and tools required to monitor activities
  • Plan human resources, material, and infrastructure requirements and, in collaboration with the Deputy Director of finance, contribute to their implementation into the budget planning process
  • Define and oversee the risk management and internal compliance policy
  • Represent Idiap in external bodies or entities where your participation is required

Your Profile

Essential:

  • Advanced degree (Master’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences, or equivalent) in business administration, management, economics, engineering, or a relevant field
  • Proven experience (at least 5 years) in the operational or administrative management of an organization, including leading multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders (research staff, administration, authorities, partners) within a multicultural environment
  • Proven management experience and a solid understanding of human resources management and organizational development issues
  • Excellent command of French and English (working languages)

Preferred:

  • Experience in an academic or research environment
