Role Summary
Contract Duration: 6 months
Workload: 40% (equivalent to four half-days per week)
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern for support in data collection for two ongoing European research projects. The selected candidate will coordinate appointments with the volunteers, and provide help with data collection sessions.
Responsibilities:
- Plan the data collection sessions with the volunteer
- Contact volunteers by phone and send reminders before each session
- Welcome volunteers, collect relevant metadata, and clearly explain the data collection procedures, including the consent form
- Assist with operating the recording equipment
- Provide helpful explanations for volunteers to facilitate the data collection process
- Help with collecting facial data of volunteers inside vehicles and from long distances
- Conduct sanity checks on collected data to ensure quality and consistency
- Collaborate closely with project team members to ensure smooth execution of data collection
Role Profile
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
- Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Demonstrated capacity for teamwork
