Your role as Airport meet and greet assistant

As part of our growth strategy to become a leading inbound travel company for the western markets, we are seeking a dedicated individual to support Japan Experience in Tokyo as Airport meet and greet assistant.

Being an airport assistant is also the first step to becoming a tour guide for our guided daily activity so it’s a great starting point for whoever wants to grow in our company.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Going to either Narita or Haneda airport depending on the assignment 

• Wait for the customers at the arrival lobby and welcome them

• Create a positive first impression 

• Offer a warm, reassuring, and organized welcome anticipating the travelers needs

• Provide a first orientation

• Deliver the necessary documents

• Support with pocket wifi recollection

• Escort the clients to their shuttle or transport

• Communicate with the shuttle drivers to ensure a smooth transfer

Who are you?

Your profile:

• Eligible to work in Japan

• Flexible availability including weekends and early/late hours

• Currently living in Tokyo 

• Vicinity with Haneda or Narita is a plus

• Experience working in Japan’s travel industry appreciated 

• Permission to work in Japan is required. No visa sponsorship.

Minimum language requirements:

• English: Business level

• French: Business level

• Japanese: Conversational level

• Proficiency in another language (German, Italian, or Spanish) appreciated

Your skills:

• Warm and welcoming personality

• Friendly and sociable, making it easy to connect with travelers

• Punctual, reliable, organized, and able to handle unexpected situations calmly and professionally

• Able to work with minimal supervision 

• Great communication with both travellers and suppliers

What do we offer 

• Salary : 1250¥/hour (Monday to Friday 9:00 to 19:00)

• Salary : 1750¥/hour (Weekends and 19:00 to 9:00)
