We are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Waiter / Waitress to join our Front of House team.

YOUR ROLE

As a Waiter / Waitress at BERTA, you are at the heart of the guest experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming guests warmly and creating a positive first impression
  • Managing your section throughout the service
  • Presenting and explaining our menu, dishes and concept
  • Taking orders accurately and efficiently
  • Providing attentive, professional and personalised service
  • Developing a strong knowledge of our food, wines, cocktails and beverages
  • Making relevant recommendations according to our guests' preferences
  • Following the rhythm and standards of service while remaining natural and engaging
  • Coordinating closely with the kitchen, bar and management teams
  • Preparing and maintaining your section before, during and after service
  • Handling guest requests and feedback professionally
  • Supporting your colleagues during busy services
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
  • Contributing to the warm, energetic and generous atmosphere that defines BERTA

Profil recherché

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience in a quality restaurant or hospitality environment
  • Is confident, energetic and comfortable in a busy restaurant
  • Has a genuine passion for hospitality and guest interaction
  • Is reliable, organised and punctual
  • Enjoys working as part of a team
  • Can work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
  • Has good communication skills
  • Is available for a minimum of 26 hours per week
  • Is available to start immediately
  • Preferably has B2 level German or above
  • English is an important asset in our international environment

WORK AUTHORISATION & AVAILABILITY

Please note that candidates must already have the legal right to work in Germany and must be legally available to work with us for a minimum period of 6 months.

Unfortunately, we cannot consider student visa holders or candidates whose current work authorisation is limited to a short period of only a few months.
