Repertoire Culinaire is part of a family-controlled group whose origins lie in the production of premium Charcuterie, Foie Gras and other Delicatessen products in France.

Post description

1. Financial Management

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance with Malaysian tax laws and international accounting standards.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Generate P&L, Balance sheet, Cash flow, AP, AR reports.

2. Compliance and Auditing

• Ensure adherence to Malaysian accounting regulations and tax compliance, including VAT, withholding taxes, and corporate tax submissions.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and compliance reviews.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local accounting standards and legislation.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting

• Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

4. Process Improvement

• Evaluate and improve accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement best practices and ensure the integration of accounting software and tools.
• Address and resolve discrepancies or errors in financial records.

Profile required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, financial regulations, and international accounting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (ERP MICROSOFT DYNAMICS) and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Fluency in English.
