Post description
- Lead the setup and operational launch of the Brisbane warehouse.
- Oversee the end-to-end order fulfillment process — from order intake to delivery.
- Manage daily warehouse logistics, including receiving, inventory control, and dispatch.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Procurement, Finance) to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop and implement SOPs and best practices for warehouse operations.
- Recruit, train, and manage the initial operations team.
- Maintain compliance with health & safety regulations and cold chain management standards.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor KPIs and operational performance, driving continuous improvement.
- Prepare to scale the operation and assume full people management responsibilities within six months.
Profile required
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or operations management (food distribution industry preferred).
- Strong understanding of cold chain logistics and perishable goods handling.
- Proven performance in Sales
- Proven experience in launching or scaling operational sites is a strong advantage.
- Hands-on, pragmatic, and solutions-driven.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
