Post description
The successful candidate plays a key role in providing access to information, enhancing documentary resources and supporting users within the ESCP community. The position contributes to the quality, relevance and accessibility of documentary services, while ensuring service continuity and visibility of the library’s tools and services.
Through the management of the documentary portal, resource processing, research support and workshop facilitation, the role directly supports the School’s academic mission, offering students, faculty and staff a structured, accessible and evolving documentary environment.
Main responsibilities

Designing and delivering documentary mediation activities, including digital and on-site training sessions

Creating educational materials in coordination with other campuses and relevant departments (guides, tutorials, videos, online modules)

Organising events related to documentary resources, information professions or reading

Managing the library catalogue (ILS): development, cataloguing, enrichment and updates

Contributing to pedagogical and digital innovation initiatives (monitoring, experimentation, artificial intelligence)

Supporting the library’s visibility strategy within the School ecosystem
Additional responsibilities

Providing documentary research support to students, faculty and staff

Integrating student theses and scientific publications into documentary tools

Developing physical and digital collections

Acting as interlibrary loan contact person

Covering public service desk duties and user information services
Profile required
Education and experience
-
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in library and information sciences
-
Initial experience in a similar role is valued
-
Proficiency in both French and English, written and spoken
Technical skills

Knowledge of ILS, cataloguing standards and UNIMARC format
-
Familiarity with management and business databases
-
Comfort with digital and collaborative tools
