The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes food, has a strong understanding of the F&B landscape, and can combine commercial drive with an appreciation for quality and provenance.

As Business Development Manager, you will take a leading role in expanding La Credenza’s presence across the UK—developing new business opportunities, strengthening partnerships, and supporting our long-term growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across restaurants, hotels, retail, and wholesale sectors.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with chefs, buyers, and decision-makers in the hospitality and retail industries.
  • Work closely with our purchasing and logistics teams to ensure seamless service and product availability.
  • Represent La Credenza at trade shows, tastings, and industry events, promoting our brands and products with authenticity and passion.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored product proposals and presentations.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, with a strong focus on sustainable, long-term growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional initiatives and campaigns.

Profile required

About You

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the food and beverage sector (preferably premium or Italian products).
  • Deep passion for Italian cuisine, ingredients, and culture.
  • Strong network within the hospitality, retail, or fine food industries is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organised, commercially minded, and customer-focused.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as needed.
