As the Cybersecurity Team Lead, you will be responsible for building and leading a new team focused on securing our submarine networks. You will play a critical role in defining the security strategy, implementing security controls, and ensuring the overall protection of our customer infrastructure.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of cybersecurity professionals.

• Security Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy for submarine networks, aligned with industry best practices and ASN's business objectives.

• Security Architecture: Design and implement secure network architectures for submarine cable systems, incorporating security controls at all levels.

• Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement mitigation measures to protect against cyber threats.

• Security Operations: Oversee security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management activities.

• Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including engineering, operations, and customer support teams, to ensure alignment and collaboration on security initiatives.

• Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance the security posture of ASN's submarine networks.
  

Wanted profil

• Must Have:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Deep understanding of network security principles and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
• Experience with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.  
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in English.

• Nice to Have:
• Experience with submarine cable systems or telecommunications networks.  
• Knowledge of cryptography and encryption technologies.
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCNP Security.
