Post description
PRIMARY PURPOSE AND OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB:
· Quality Assurance representative for all issues Operational issues in ASN GH production areas.
· Lead root cause analysis investigation plus implement corrective actions for reported n/c events.
· Provide guidance/support to Manufacturing teams and Quality staff on all aspects relating to quality.
· Identify process improvement opportunities & lead/facilitate solutions to problems identified.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Process
· Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations using 8D methodology, Fishbone/Ishikawa/5Ys, etc.
· Lead FMEA reviews for existing Product Lines.. identify & mitigate against potential risks to business.
· Perform detailed analysis of manufacturing non-conformance data with a view to identifying trends & fixes.
· Provide innovative solutions and suggestions to drive improvements within Manufacturing areas.
· Provide guidance/support to Manufacturing teams and quality staff on all aspects relating to quality.
· Facilitate business internal & external audit programme.. help Audit finding Owners resolve reported issues
· Drive Right First-Time quality culture within site Production Areas.
· Manage & develop team of Quality Assurance Engineers & Quality Support Technicians within team.
· Report status of open improvement actions arising from non-conformance data analyses.
· Drive open quality related issues to closure.. escalate when behind scheduled or stopped.
Team Work
· Work with Production, Engineering and other Teams on all aspects Quality Assurance & Management.
· Communicate effectively with departmental staff & internal customers.
· Build and maintain good working relationships with department colleagues, staff and support depts.
· Support production on all quality issues to ensure timely resolution of reported non-conformities.
Planning and Reporting
· Attend relevant meetings, ensuring you have relevant information.
· Capture data for the businesses Key Performance Indicators as defined.
Training
· Deliver internal training as defined by the quality organization.
· Ensure personal Competency Records are up to date.
QHSE
· Respond to product quality issues in a timely manner.
· Support and participate in improvement initiatives, quality projects and programs: continuous improvement events within the business management system, Lean/site improvements, organizational culture change programmes, Jidoka etc.
· Ensure company H&S policy is applied & ensure staff behave in a safe manner.
· Ensure health safety checks are carried out on time and equipment is labelled where required.
· Ensure ESD Protocols are followed.
· Report all Accidents & Near Misses in a timely manner to HSE Department.
Administrative
· Deal with personnel issues (holidays, sickness, timekeeping, grievances).
· Use of all system tools necessary for the job.
Wanted profil
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE JOB:
Degree in Engineering or relevant subject.
Previous experience in a similar role for min. 10yrs facilitating multi-disciplinary teams in process improvement.
Lean 6-Sigma Black Belt
ISO9001 Lead Auditor
Demonstrable experience in team management.
