OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB:

• To assist in managing the procurement process and supporting the commodity manager with sourcing and acquiring marine services.
• Documentation gathering for issuing RFQs (Request for quotation) to suppliers.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES/ ACTIVITIES: 
•    To Support HSE supplier qualification processes.
•    Documentation gathering for issuing RFQs (Request for quotation) to suppliers.
•    To liaise with internal departments to accurately form RFQ packages.
•    To research suppliers, obtaining quotes, processing orders, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring timely delivery of RFQ documentation.
•    To analyse market trends, managing relationships with vendors, and ensuring compliance with company policies. 
•    Exposure to negotiation and supplier management while developing skills in procurement and supply chain management.

Profile required

REQUIRED EDUCATION & TRAININGS: 

• Previous experience in a similar role or customer service environment
• Recent Graduate
• Computer literate (MS Word, Excel and Outlook essential)
• Experience of buying/purchasing, working knowledge of contracts and/or negotiation experience will be an advantage but not essential.
