To answer to the diversification and growth of its Marine Operations, ASN Marine owns and develop a fleet of surface and subsea equipment and mobile units. Operated offshore onboard our fleet of Cable ship or onboard vessels of opportunity, the equipment are characterized by their specificity and technicity. ASN marine is looking for his/her « Marine Equipment technical Project Manager».
Within the asset organization; the ME Technical PM will be responsible for the development, delivery of surface handling and subsea equipment. He will also ensure the technical follow up.
Throughout its lifecycle, you take the following activities:
- During early Design phases (Concept, Basic Design); you lead development of technical solutions, prepare technical specifications, and lead the Request for Information (RFI) process engaging with key suppliers.
- During the project select phase, Request for Quotation (RFQ), you are the technical lead, preparing technical specifications and consolidating the budget.
- During the project execution, you manage the equipment delivery or modification/upgrade project and are responsible to deliver as per specification, within the budget and time.
- During the equipment life, once delivered, you will be reponsble to Prior to mobilization; you will ensure the equipment and be responsible to interface with the operational teams ensuring smooth mobilization onboard ASN or 3rd party chartered vessels.
- During mobilization/demobilization phases, you will prepare equipment and spare parts and coordinate logistical needs
- You grasp concepts and technical details of complex systems, to propose solutions to the various stakeholders (Assets; operations; projects); then take the lead producing detailed specification as the requirement
matures. You take the lead to bring the project to execution. - Regular travel to visit suppliers/ partners will be required during the various stages of project execution, along with periodic visits to our ASN marine Hub.
Wanted profil
- You have an MsC in Engineering, with minimum of 5-years’ experience or more than 10-years’ experience in managing the technical projects in marine / subsea and/or Offshore environments
- Knowledge of offshore operations ideally from field assignment/experiences.
- Technical knowledge in mechanics, hydraulics and electrical systems
- Technical knowledge in Lifting Appliances and Offshore Handling Systems, including Certification process (BV NR 526, NR 595, Lloyd’s CLAME, DNV Std 2-22, European Directives, Etc…) or Offshore Industry reference (IMCA)
- Project Management (Budget, schedule, Risk)
- You are solution-oriented, have the ability to work independently
whilst as a team player interacting proactively within the Marine group
team.
- Proficient in English, you proactively engage, manage international suppliers to deliver as per expectations and establishing relationships on technical level.
