JOB INFORMATION:

To continuously monitor, analyse and execute the messages from the MRP system (SAP) and plan them according to minimise and stop at all costs any possible shortages or deadtime to ASN manufacturing lines.

CONTEXT OF THE JOB

Ø Ensure delivery of material is in line with manufacturing plans and weekly outputs to avoid delays and line stoppages at all costs.

Ø Check SAP MRP system daily to verify, analyse and act on any system messages.

o Approve & Release Purchase Orders

o Approve & Release Change Notes

o Daily shortage tracking

Ø Reduce stock holding, manage, and monitor inventory levels, whilst increasing stock turnover

Ø Minimise scrap and obsolescence material, which can occur due to scheduling changes, Engineering Change Notes (ECN) and Shelf-life issues.

Ø Maintain and improve Supplier relationships by constantly engaging in Supplier communication.

Ø Contribute to the weekly KPI indicators.

Ø Report potential supply risks and shortages to senior management.

Ø Ensure personal training competency records are up to date.

Ø Respond to product quality issues in a timely manner.

Ø Lead improvements and assist in improvement implementation.

Ø Ensure company H&S policy is always applied and report any non-conformance.

Ø Ensure ESD protocols are followed as and when required.

Ø Mentor new department staff by ensuring they understand what is needed/required.

Ø Build and maintain good working relationships with department colleagues and support other departments as and when required Create and monitor advanced procurement Bills of materials.

Ø Forecast calculation, verification, and confirmation by using the current LTP (Long Term Plan) forecast requirement for each component family and issue it to Purchasing for supplier forecasting.

Ø Supplier Account reconciliation.

Ø Create Shopping list Codes and BoMs for all new models.

Ø Shelf-life management (i.e. LT analysis, PO Creation, shortage minimisation)

Ø Creating Shipping ticket and Outbound Delivery

Ø Required to attend any Supplier meetings.

Ø NPI Meeting attendance, understanding, and follow up/required actions.

Ø Critical Suppliers tracking and delivery management.

Ø Manage Master data updates.

Ø Using SAP and SED bill of materials from previous contracts to create procurement shopping lists to initiate the procurement process in advance of fully issued SED bills of materials (BOM).

Ø Modify and create Alternative production bills of materials (BOM’s).

Ø Modify the SED bills of materials (BOM) where alternative components can be used to ensure the demand and supply is always correct.

Ø Analysis and monitoring of Safety stocks and MOQ’s

Ø Attend production and scheduling meetings to ensure material supply is in line with the manufacturing plan advising in advance possible shortfalls.

Wanted profil

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Evaluate MRP Daily to review, monitor and act on MRP messages.

Create and monitor advanced procurement Bills of materials.

Evaluate forecast plans using LTP to understand possible risks involved.

Place all orders as requested by MRP System.

Monitor and reduce Inventory holding whenever possible.

Maintain Supplier relationships.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE JOB:

Be able to demonstrate Materials control experience on a previous/current role

Degree qualified preferred but not essential

SAP experience desirable

Good IT skills

Advanced level of excel preferred but not essential

Goods written and oral skills
