Production Assessor

OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB

The job holder will be responsible to ensure the continued level of compliance and competence for all operational facilities.

To support the training and development within the production area and Training school

Support  new employees to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.

To assess training competence before signing off for independent working, the overall goal is to enhance the skills and productivity of department members.

 

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Complete the assigned OCA assessments in line with the OCA Procedure
  • To ensure OCA plan execution and on-time delivery.
  • Provide support and advice to bring other areas into the OCA process
  • Support OCA related Investigations and Human performance decisions for CAPA
  • Deliver product related technical training, within the ASN GH Training and Development Function.
  • Ensure on-time training, to meet GH Manufacturing Plan.
  • Support the Facilitation & Evaluation of in-house training programmes.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, to optimise and improve the department.
  • To monitor Training Records and requalify as necessary in good time.
  • Mentor new Trainers/Assessors. Ensure they understand what is required.
  • Build employee motivation & morale in order to be productive.
  • Communicate effectively with departmental staff & Supervisor.
  • Support and Complete training to assist the recruitment schedule to ensure demand is met.
  • Liaise with Training and Development Advisor to ensure training material availability.
  • Assist Training and Development Advisor in tracking & recording key departmental KPIs/OCAs.
  • Ensure departmental Training Competency Records are up to date.
  • Ensure departmental training qualification/requalification plans are up to date.
  • Enforce & Adhere to local clean area rules (ESD, Washing hands etc). Report non-compliances.
  • Respond to training quality issues in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTONOMY

Complete the assigned OCA assessments as required

Complete the close out meetings with Area managers

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION & TRAININGS

  • Previous training experience ideally in a similar environment is desirable.
  • Experience of Lean manufacturing principles an advantage

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCES & COMPETENCIES

  • A strong understanding of departmental functions and ability to convey that knowledge effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications to facilitate training sessions and provide clear instructions and provide feedback.
