OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB:

  • The production trainer is responsible for providing training and development within the Training function, supporting new and existing employees to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively. They will also assess training competence.
  • Their overall goal is to enhance the skills and productivity of department members.
  • Complete training in line with the 3 Step Training process.

 

Main accountabilities / activities include:

  • Deliver product related technical training
  • Ensure on-time training, to meet GH Manufacturing Plan.
  • Support the Facilitation & Evaluation of in-house training programs.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, to optimise and improve the department.
  • To monitor Training Records and requalify as necessary in good time.
  • Mentor new Trainers. Ensure they understand what is required.
  • Build employee motivation & morale to be productive.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with department staff and Supervisor.
  • The role holder is expected to demonstrate a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, promoting collaboration and positive partnerships, working harmoniously with colleagues, and other stakeholders of all cultures and backgrounds.
  • Complete training to the recruitment schedule to ensure demand is met.
  • Liaise with Training and Development Advisor to ensure training material availability.
  • Enforce & adhere to local clean area rules (ESD, Washing hands etc.). Report non-compliances.
  • Respond to training quality issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in improvements & assist in improvement implementation.
  • Ensure company H&S policy is applied & ensure staff behave in a safe manner.
  • Ensure Departmental health safety checks are carried out on time and equipment is labelled where required.
  • Adhere to all section COSHH & Risk assessments. Use the correct PPE.

Wanted profil

Education/qualifications/experience:

 

  • Previous experience in a similar role outside ASN, or as a Temporary Trainer/Mentor within ASN.
  • Must have experience in the AMPS area of production
  • Subject Matter Expert: a strong understanding of departmental functions and ability to convey that knowledge effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communications to facilitate training sessions and provide clear instructions.
  • Adaptability: Being flexible in adapting training methods to different learning styles and needs
  • Organisational Skills: managing training schedules, materials, and tracking progress effectively.
  • Empathy: understanding the needs and challenges of employees and providing support and guidance
  • Problem solving identifying and addressing training issues or gaps in employee performance.
  • Technology Proficiency: proficiency in using training tools and software.
  • Evaluation and Feedback: assessing the impact of training and providing constructive feedback for improvement.

Rotating shift pattern – over weekdays and weekends
