PRIMARY PURPOSE AND OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB:
· Quality Assurance Engineer responsible for maintaining ASN Greenwich management system.
· Lead the management & resolution of site audit findings.
· Facilitate risks and opportunities analyses across all business management activities including mitigation plan.
· Develop procedures & define processes with input from stakeholders.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Process
· Identify gaps in business processes and implement changes necessary to comply with internal, customer or ISO9001 certification requirements.
· Identify process improvement opportunities across key business activities & implement changes accordingly.
· Develop procedures & define processes with input from stakeholders.
· Facilitate site internal audit activities (products & processes) & support Process Owners to resolve reported findings.
· Lead co-ordinator of yearly Management Review working with Process Owners to compile business performance data in line with ISO9001 requirements. Report Output Actions & drive to completion.
· Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations into non-conformance events using 8D methodology, Fishbone/Ishikawa/5Ys.
· Lead QMS Document Control activities ensuring compliance to ASN Quality Policy & ISO9001 requirements including producing related reports/dashboards.
· Promote & drive Quality and Right First-Time culture within all areas of business.
· Advise teams with respect to site Quality Management System process & compliance requirements.
· Define Process Effectiveness Assessment methods for all business activities with respective Process Owners.
· Report status of business’ Quality Objectives vs plan & identify recovery plan where appropriate.
· Monitor and escalate, where necessary, internal product quality issues where actions needed to address non-conformances either not agreed, behind scheduled or stopped.
Team Work
· Work with Functional/Process Owners with respect to all aspects of business management activities.
· Communicate effectively with internal & external customers, stakeholders & interested parties.
· Build and maintain good working relationships with department colleagues, staff and support depts.
· Support Process Owners & Stakeholders on all quality issues to ensure effective resolution.
Planning and Reporting
· Attend relevant meetings, ensuring you have relevant information.
· Capture data for the businesses Key Performance Indicators as defined.
Training
· Ensure personal Competency Records are up to date.
QHSE
· Enforce & adhere to local clean area rules (ESD, Washing hands etc). Deal with non-compliance.
· Support and participate in improvement initiatives, quality projects and programs: continuous improvement events within the business management system, Lean / site improvements, organisations culture change programme, Jidoka etc.
· Ensure ESD Protocols are followed.
· Report any Accidents & Near Misses in a timely manner to HSE Department.
Administrative
· Handle personal issues (holidays, sickness, Timekeeping, grievances) with direct line Manager.
· Use of all system tools necessary for the job.
Wanted profil
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE JOB:
- Degree in Engineering, Quality or related field.
- Previous significant experience in a similar facilitating multi-disciplinary teams in process improvement activities.
- Lean 6-Sigma
- ISO9001 Lead Auditor
- Proven experience with Root Cause Analysis tools including CAPA Management.
- Strong analytical skills
- Good level of Microsoft Tool (Excel, Power point etc)
- Good Project Management Skills and autonomy
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good organisational skills
